Had a fillet wrapped in hickory smoked bacon last night along with way too many beers. Never had steak like that before. But it was good as hell:happy2:

Larry has been talking about it so much, that when I saw it on the menu I had to try it. The bacon was the best part.

love bacon on steak, favorite is thick cut maple, but hickory is close 2nd

I had a bacon cheeseburger yesterday, but the bacon was nice thick cut pepper bacon, nice and spicy and sweet flavor, oh, how delicious!

Never had steak wrapped in bacon, but one of my favorites is bacon wrapped deer backstraps. Wrap it in bacon, put pineapple on top, and slow cook it for about three hrs...delicious.

Also a good way to cork pork loin.
