Pat gave me that title-now my kids laugh at me- anyway, the 7.1 is finished, he's driving it daily, we are still working on fine tuning it and getting the shift points where we need them. No track times yet, he won't give it back. He is having too much fun beating people. The mpg improved from what he was getting before by 3mpg, it starts and runs like a stock truck, driving down the highway you can cruise at any speed (60 to 100) with no surge or anything. It runs like a luxury vehicle on steroids. We upgraded to the GT42 Mag and I fixed the exhaust leaks and the huge oil leak finally(installer error all the way) now there is a small oil leak but not too bad. As soon as he releases it I will change the trans tune one more time and then we will get some track times. Maybe by the end of March. There is also a dyno getting assembled in Midland so when its done I am hoping to get a certain family here on a short vacation to help me dial it in. As always I give credit where its due even though they don't want it. Pat, Kat, Larry Jewell, Guy, Ric De Lance, Dan@ppe, Richard for allowing me to expiriment with his truck, my two oldest boys for all the hard work they did and to the people of this site with all the input and help you have given me. Answering my stupid questions-more then once, and allowing me to learn about these engines. Thank you very much.
