how did those coopers wear dale?

Just as shitty as the previous two sets I had. 25 000 miles and done.
The studded winter Duratrac's I'm running right now are wearing surprisingly much better than I thought they would. I might even get part of another winter out of them.

I think I'm gonna try the Kumho's. Got a quote for $1700 installed which is on par for almost every other mud tire that size. I don't know anyone else up here running them so I guess I will be the guinea pig.

Had a set of 285/16 ran just under 40k mi. no flats balanced great, rode real nice, some noise but expected that. For the price what a tire. D rated if you want E's the cost is only a bit more. Keep aired up for mpg and life is what I thought helped liked them alot.

I think the difference between these and an E-rated is only like 50 pounds and they are higher than the BFG KM2's I was looking at. I run at 50 psi on all my tires and rotate every 5K if I can.

My Duratracs are actually 295/70R18 . The 35's were back ordered 6 weeks when I was looking for tires so I went with the 295. Actually kinda glad I did. The really work well!!

LBZ... I am running Kumho SAT KL61's... I really like them so far... not the same type of tire obviously but same brand and I'm familiar with them.

265/75/16's E range.

Ran Kumho's on my camaro and was quite pleased.

I had a set of 37/13.5/22's on my truck and I like them alot better than my nitto trail grappler mt's they are on a national back order and I poped two so I had to switch tires. I think they do alot better in the snow, but I"m not sure about mud/sand.

Ya I checked today again and they are at least a month away from Vancouver. Not a big deal, I have few months before I will need them.

So checked again - still no tires in western Canada. Looks like I'm gonna have to try something different. I was looking at the Nitto Mud Grapplers. A little knarly than I really need though.....

No on the trail grapplers. Seen them in action and they suck wang in the mud around here. Thanks though. I was also eyeballing the dick cepeks. Going to get a price on them today but so far after tax they all seem to be around the $2000 mark.

Longest wearing AT tire I have found is Procomp Extreme AT. Not sure if they are aggresive enough for you or not. I have no idea how their Extreme MT's wear. I have had nitto Terra Grapplers, Bridgestone Duelers and others but only got around 20-20k out of them. I currently have about 70ish k on my procomps and they are getting down to the wear bars now. I bought the because of a really good deal I got on them and have been very impressed with the life span.

Ya no AT's for this guy. Gotta be able to get around the Dodge's and Ford's in the mud on location!!
Dick Cepek Mud tires run about $425 a corner so not too bad on the price. I think I'm going to give them a whirl.....
