Knowing which converter (stall) you will need?

My year long build should be finished up this winter and I'm trying to narrow down which turbo will work best for me. With that being said my stage 4 (essentially a Ppe stage 4) trans is going to need to be upgraded. If I went with a s471 .90 a/r what stall would be ideal?

What are you doing with your truck? Street driving? Towing? Drag racing?

It will be mostly street driven and a weekend track warrior unless I get booted for no cage

You would want as least a 2300 stall. 1058 or looses.

I can break stall mine to over 3100 rpm and I couples hard on the street it is the way to go on a big charger I have a 475 and it drives increadable

I agree. Can't knock buddy for my trans. Has held up far longer than expected and I'm pushing a couple hundred hp more than it was built for. I don't know the numbers but my converter was built for a Vgt 68 so it is tight. I'll see if buddy had it written down somewhere. I've been meaning to call him anyways.
