Please check under the hood of your tractors before startin them up in the mornin. Here is what is left of my neigbors MX255 IH tractor. A bird had built a nest on top of the turbo. Once it caught fire a fuel line melted and that was all it took. Burned in about 40 minutes.

i left a john deere 4710 sprayer sit still for a sunday.checked oil and took off workn on monday morning,a mile down the road smoke and flames every were.i was lucky got it out before even the paint was damaged...

That's worse than the time I started my Galaxie 500 in the dead of winter and it made a weird shrieking noise then a bunch of clunking followed by normal sound. Popped the hood to find an engine compartment full of blood and fur. Apparently the coolant circulation heater made a nice warm area to sleep for a couple cats. That was fun to clean up....

yup only thing hurt was my ankle when i jumped off the rig,didnt wanna wait for the electric ladder to drop.hit the ground and grabbed fire ex and put it out with out so much as even paint damage...i got lucky

that is messed up. alot of money burnt up right there. we have had two tractors burn up in my life time but they were both old john deere and i cant remember but i think they were both electrical parties.
