What kina psi have they been tearing at, usually? Also, tie wire or ducktape around them will surely help there life!
Buy a PPE boot and you won't need that AFEintercooler tube. They are $50 bucks i think but are top notch and 6 or 8 ply i believe. Brian was tearing boots and put on a PPE and hasn't ripped it yet:thumb:
62psi +or- a couple psi is what I've seen when they pop. seem to always let go on the 3-4 shift. Already ordered the AFE pipe, or I'd be all over the PPE boot. Boot blew and I came in the house, and ordered the AFE 5 minutes later.
Exploded my 90* 100 miles from home @ 60psi yeah, not cool...

I got a 90* from siliconehose.com and has held up great. Don't think PPE had there's advertised at the time
Now I have to see if I can patch it together until the new parts get here..............Probably won't hold, but I'm going to try it...
Or I have a box full of mandrel bent 3" pipe,and a TIG welder.........Forgot I had the pipe until after AFE was ordered:rofl:
The only down fall to a 90 is the factory boot is not a 90. Not much off an issue but still not 100% correct

Looks like i would cancel the order on that are one and just throw some powder coat on the one you built!
