KILL SWITCH...asap

just found out that the pull i have this weekend they are enforcing kill switches, fuel or air. i was thinkning about running a breakaway switch for a trailer but i need some help doing it. wiring and parts.

help please, pull is sat morning

Transfer your tune to a DSP2 tune, and put zeros for all the values in the DSP2 side of the tune. Now if that ECM wire touches a ground, the engine will shut off. This is how we have Casper set up.

and then run a wire all the way the the back bumper with a breakaway switch and use that to ground my ecm?

do i need to run my dsp2 switch? or can i just run a dsp2 tune and the just ground the ecm?

Just run the ECM wire back to the bumper. Any kind of switch that will ground that wire will kill the engine. I used a Moroso safety switch from Jeg's.

i used a break away switch from a trailer and then tied it into the fuse box under the hood to the injectors....either way will get er done

That's what I'm gonna do. The 10 amp INJ fuse point could be used with a loop circuit to the rear bumper area. Pat's Idea sounds good also.
