I got an email from my uncle asking me to look at this EBAY auction. 330115053923
:banghead:

I copied this from it
"This truck was built for sled pulling while still being street driven. I pulled at events here and there when I had time and tied for 3rd place in points for the year in the DHRA stock turbo class last year. The truck has a weight bar mounted in the bed to hang weights and a removable one for the front bumper as well as removable bump stops for 2" max. travel on the rear. The engine compartment looks very clean as if the engine was factory, it is tight but ther is alot of room at the firewall for a larger turbo. There is a power steering leak at the hydro boost and a wheel cylinder has started leaking on the left rear. This truck has been garage keep since it was put together. I belive this is a great unique truck that turns heads everywhere it goes. "

Um! BS! :bs: I finished 3rd and tied with no one. I already sent him a freindly email. That truck finished 10th by the way.

To top it off he uses a TTS Extreme! I beat that truck every time I pulled against it.

It should not bother me but it does. I worked hard and drove all over last your for that 3rd place. I am proud of it.

I know the guy and to be honest, I bet its an honest mistake. He does run the TTS because at the time he built that truck, no one else could do that kind of custom programming (EFI Live wasn't out yet). Once EFI Live came outhe tried a little bit to get help with getting it to run right but I don't think he ever did cause he didn't want to spend anymore money on it so he didn't buy a new/unlocked ECM. He always had to pull with TTS stacked with an Edge Hot J/A. His best dyno run (on Dunbar's Dyno) was mid-400s IIRC.

I do understand the frustrations but I believe its probably an honest mistake. I just wish I had the money to buy it. :D Its a sharp truck with lots of potential IMO.

I to think he was just confused or going off what someone else told him. I meant Wayne at Scheid's. He seemed pretty cool. His truck was real nice. I to would not have minded owning it. I just thought if your going to advertise like that take the time to make sure it is right. Easy enough to do. Just go to DHRA's website and look in the archives. All the results are there.
