Key Fob question?

What years key fob will work on a 2006? Buddy gave me a spare fob from his old lb7 but i cannot get it to work on my truck
tried new battery and doing the programming a few times but no luck

2003 - 2007 Classic should work. If your buddy had an 01-02 LB7, that might be what the problem was.

Also, if the key fobs he gave you were old, they may just be bad. I'm on my 3rd key fob on my 2003. After a while, they just stop working, even with brand new batteries. They are only $20 each on eBay for new (foreign knock off) ones, and they last just as long as OEM. That's what I'd do if I were you.

yea his was a 01 so thats prob the issue, sucks now gotta go buy one from dealer

Check Ebay they are way less then dealer

I think id rather have one from dealer as they are only 30 bucks and i know its the right one
