I'm looking at lift pump and filter options for my LLY swapped half ton. The setup that caught my eye was Kennedy twins with the Mega filter mounted under the stock airbox tray. I am planning on doing compounds at some point in the future..will a compound setup interfere with the airbox mounting location for the Mega filter setup?

most twin setups wont fit with stock air box. I say most because There may be one that doesn't, but I can't say that I've seen one retain the factory air box.

Question. Maybe I missed something but why would you want the lift pump up in the engine bay anyways? Kennedy pumps along with most others work better as pushers not pullers of fuel. Ideally you would want it all on the frame rail close to the tank.

The lift pumps will be under the truck. The mega filter kit is separate and would be mounted under the airbox. Sounds like it won't fit with a twin setup though.

You have plenty of room along the frame rail, that's where pretty much everyone puts them. It's much easier to do clean compounds if you delete the stock fuel filter, relocate the FICM, relocate coolant tank, and delete the stock intake.
