Took Betty somewhere this morning, went to go start her back up and service 4wd, abs and brake light came on. She drove fine until she shut off on her own. The IGN A fuse was blown, put another one in, turned the key to the run pos. Fuse was good, went to crank it and thats when it blew. Did this once more then I just AAA'd her home.

Anyone know what exactly is controlled by the IGN A circuit? Im thinking shorted wire somewhere.

I'll take a shot in the dark not knowing the wiring schematic, check your wiring at the starter for corrosion and tightness, careful not to short anything in the process, reassemble with dielectric grease.

Look at the wires by the parking brake see if any rubbed through.
