I was out doing some logs an truck started missing, check balance rates an
Lt side is -7 all
Rt side is +15 all

no fuel in oil, that's good, I think..

Hopefully I'll find a problem with the fuel rail fittings like last time, if not what would cause a whole bank to drop?? It's funny I just checked the balance rates last nite an the looked great,, everyone was + or - .50 LOL,,, I'll let u guys know what I find....

Check the wiring at the ficm. Mine rubbed through on the piece of the ficm that wiring harness zip ties to at the top right corner.

were u getting similar b-rates, thanks, I've not had time to check it out yet but I'll definetly check that,, I was driving normal an it was like someone cut off the fuel.. hope it's something simply....

Well I pulled both rail fittings cleaned them flush the lines, put it back together an it runs fine, I checked the balance rates an they were all good, I had some problems with my pump back in May an the left fuel rail orifice was clogged, which made it look like the injectors were bad anyway I guess their was some stuff still in the system an it just took awhile for it to reach the right side, So all is good,, After the trouble I had in May I learned that just because your balance rates are off don't mean your injectors are bad, So I hope this thread will help someone out there in the future, Thanks to those of your that read this an to the ones that replied,,:thumb:

No, It's not my cp3 coming apart, it's along story but I broke the output fitting, I took it to Diesel Injection an had to have to broken fitting milled out, cause that some hard shit,, it's like 60 on the rockwell scale anyway, when I put it back together I bench flushed the pump but obviously didn't get it all, so when I started up the first time some debris clogged up my orifice on the left side which is the closest to the pump, which took me awhile to figure that one out, it made the balance rates look like the injectors were bad, so I when thru all of that blah blah boo whoo. So I've been driving it some so yesterday I was driving it an it acted like the fuel was cut off, I checked the balance rates an it looked like the injectors were bad, but I've seen that before,( If someone wants to see the balance rate I'll send them to u,) so I pulled the right side fitting an orifice an it had just a few particules in it just enough to starve the rail, thus the problem,,, I checked the other side as well an cranked the engine over with the lines loose from the rails an flushed everything, lines, fuel block ect, so now I feel confident I'm clean now,,, Long story huh,, lol,, I'm glad those orifices are in the rail I won't remove them cause they've saved me twice now,,, Thanks for your responses, I hope this my help someone in the future... So for the record my pump is good, an Shane I've backed my pressure back down to 180mpa,, I was at 195 before, which I don't think that was to high,, IMO....
Thanks Guys I really appreciated your input...:thumb:
