Just got my new ATS extreme trans!!!

WHOOOO HOOOO This thing rocks!!! Im in denver rite now and i just got my new ATS Extreme trans. My old trans finally gave up and it was actually the cause of my laggy, poopy, less boost, crappy feeling truck. I have to admit tho, my old trans took a beating and lasted for 80,000+ miles. I will post pics tonight after i eat dinner. Truck runs like bat out of hell now!

Pulls way harder than before. Guess my trans has been going out for a while. They did a sweet job on the stage 5 extreme and spent alot of time with the truck and tranny. Mike and Bob would tweak on it then take it for some runs then come back and tweak on it again....numerous times. I took it out thurs nite then dropped it back off Fri morning. They made more adjustments to the VB then drove it again. They werent going to let the truck leave till it was dialed in perfect. I loaded her up and came home after they were finished.

PPE stage 5

So im curious if you had a stage 5 wht went out on it ? c3 c4s ? just curious why not just replace the bad packs if tht was wht was wrong or was it something else? how do you like this new trans comapred to the old. jut trying to see wht the diffrences are thanks

PPE stage 5 had alot of miles on it. It had a ATS converter, co-pilot, red eagle frictions, koleen steels, ATS vb (after the transgo took a crap) I put around 80k hard hard miles on it. After you and i talked on the phone i took my truck back out later that nite. I lost reverse, neatral was gone and OD gone too. Even in park the motor was lugging down. ATS didnt have time to go thru my trans and bandaid it all up again. They replaced it with a stage 5 extreme and it seems to pull alot harder and shift better/snappier too.

How do you lose neutral??? Was a clutchpack hanging up and not releasing all the way?

I do alot of business with ATS and run their huge door stickers on my truck. They took my old trans that was filled with ATS parts from other visits to their shop. All i can say is i didnt pay much and the whole shabang is brand new. Jason always takes great care of me and i have all the respect for those guys. They can build anything you want, give you any stall you wish. Every part of the trans is built in-house and comes with deep pan, co-pilot which alot of others dont include or make. I can set you up with a price including install and a hotel for a overnite stay.

I dont know how i lost neutral. They were gonna take it apart to see what was going on inside after i left. They just wanted to get me on the road so dropped mine and had the new one in by 4pm the same day. I drove it that nite and took it back fri morning for them to do some changes to the valve body. ill call them and see what they found.
