Hello everyone my name is Joey,

I finally found an LBZ with only 50,000 on it and couldn't be happier. I am a little worried I might have gotten hosed though. The truck came with a Diablo Predator tuner and the tune was out of it when I test drove it. So being a normal guy as soon as I got it home I put the 120 tune in her. Drove it for about a week to let the tranny learn the new shift points. Last night i took the truck out to beat on her a little bit and see what she would do and it tugs hard unit it comes time to shift. At around 3500 rpms or so the truck falls on its face and holds at 2500 rpms for a long while then shifts and starts toughing hard again. My concern is that the tranny is going out. But im not sure if its the programer , or do i have a fueling problem I am lost. Any suggestions would help.

Also no check engine lights come on and no codes either.

Probably sucking air at the filter head. Very common. Try pumping the hand pump on top of the fuel filter and see if it stays hard or gets soft. It's most likely the sensor on the bottoms of the filter is cracked, plugged fuel filter, or the filter head itself needs a rebuild.

Change your fuel filter while you're at it. I'll bet you a dollar it will fix it. Also be careful, you can limp the Allison with those bigger tunes. Without a trans go Jr. I wouldn't go over 90 hp. Sounds like a sweet truck!

TX of course
Welcome to DD:thumb:

X10 on the fuel filter. You can play some on the 120, but I would get a Transgo JR. in there ASAP regardless. And better yet call Mike L and get his new springs that replace the ones in the transgo.
