I've been lurking around here for a while now reading up and learning about the DMax and Alli so I thought it was time to say hello. SO...G'Day guys.
I live in Far North Queensland and I've been building myself a bit of a project truck over the last two years. A replica H1 Hummer on a Nissan patrol chassis.
It originally had a 4.2 Litre straight 6 turbo diesel in it which was extremely reliable and brilliant out bush, but not really a power house. Of course there is only one engine I could really use in a build like this and I've managed to acquire a 2006 LBZ.
I haven't yet fitted the engine but I'm getting there. I'm using the original Nissan transfer case (two of them in fact) so I'll have 3 different low range ratios and that is where I'm currently at. Once I have those fitted to the Allison though it should all be smooth sailing because I've acquired nearly all of the parts I need to finish it off.
There is still one part I need though and it seems to be impossible to find it here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I need the small piece of wiring that goes between the accelerator pedal and the main wiring harness. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know.
