Hey, no need to be excited for winter when we aren't even halfway through summer. There's still plenty of summer sports that need enjoying first.

But it's also crazy how fast it is going. This year needs to slow down already.

My AC has leaked off 24lbs of freon since March. Haven't been able to locate the leak with sniffer or dye. I'm down to thinking the neighbor's filling cans when I'm away... lol

Really? We didnt switch the heat off until early May. Heck, I had to turn the furnace on a couple days this week.
Yep, keep the place low 60s, grant AC did kick on at night when lows where in the 40s which made for mid 50s inside, add a fan and perfect sleeping 😴 😴 😴 😴 😴

Granted I'm ~300 miles due south of central Michigan

Have you done a full pressure nitrogen test? Helped my friend diagnose a dehumidifier here that was losing charge, but no visible leak. It would only leak when operating at full pressure, but you couldn't hear/see it because of the fans moving air. Pumped it up to 450 PSI with nitrogen and soapy water found a cracked condenser.

Those make good shop fans.
Oooohhhh yeah, this one is 10" wide by 16" diameter and has a 2hp 3ph 220/440v motor on it.
Got another but has a 1/3hp 120v needs new pillow blocks main pulley and at least a 1/2-3/4hp motor on it. Should move some air around the 60*80 barn I rent.

Well it runs and no magic smoke .
Haven't figured out what exactly the two LED lights indicate.. default settings seam to say it maxes out a 50hz., which would be the the top, Max's out at 49.88-49.95 ..
Is the bottom Amps? The motor maxes out at 5.6A at 220V
Now need to figure out how I want to cleanup the wires

And something shut the motor down, case temp was around 140° IDK if the thermal breaker on the motor tripped or the VFD?

The A coil had been repaired a decade back, so I planned to replace it when we moved the compressor this spring. The tech I hired to move did a 400lb nitrogen test on it and went over the A coil with soapy water and found nothing. So we vacuumed it down and held it 30-40 minutes before charge.. Evaperated 12lbs in about 10 days in March April doing heat pump duties..

A couple of weeks back after searching for dye leaks on every piece, we found a valve core leaking when we removed the hoses. Called it fixed, topped it off, and lasted 6 days, maybe. So I've eliminated all the valves by...

It’s probably a crack in the line going into the attic behind your insulation. Been there fought that, replaced system and kept old lines lost refrigerant in a week again.
