Already started the booming here last weekend. Sat around for a couple hours watching young kids lean the difference between Grey and Green fuses the hard way..

I haven't bought any fireworks in years. No more kids young enough in the family anymore.
Used to, before the prices went insane, buy the bottles of black powder and have fun with that. Long lines in the streets and watch it zoom along. Or one of my favorites. A large coffee can with magnesium shavings and a healthy serving of powder in it. A fireball 30' in the air with white sparks shooting all over. The kids seem to like it better because it's much quieter. The noise always seems to be what scares the little ones

We've got a new neighbor about 1/2 mile down the road that did a display last year that rivaled our township's. We did our own small displays for years when the kids were in their teens.
Never bought fireworks in my life...

Like the mason jar storage. I got that exact same aluminum step stool/ladder at work. They are pretty awesome if you don't need to get too high

fireworks have been nightly since last Friday around my place. I can take the SXS out and watch fireworks all weekend from the hillbilly’s blowing stuff up. 
@2004LB7 Love Baby Driver. The mason jar storage is nice but it is nerve wracking to remove one and put it back. I have also broken quite a few.
The No Parking is a University of TX PD sign lol, I have an idea where it came from... Not sure where it's home will be.

There is something about fireworks that gets the local county boys going wild around here. I’m not too excited about them myself, I’d rather save the money and do some fishing or buy a truck part. Lol
Well the boys picked our a bunch of fireworks today. Maybe a couple more years before they won't want to do them with there dad.

Happy 4th! Firework are hit and miss with us, because we are normally on vacation. I love them, but we are often camping.
This year we are at Taekwondo Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale to see my little girl fight. Hoping it goes well since it turns out her first fight is a girl local to us. She rocked my girl world last time. We did a little research on her and found out she has been fighting competitively for maybe 3 years as a "beginner".... My girl can win if she can stay focused and not let it get in her head.

We she "lost", but put up a hell of a fight. We feel she was cheated out of winning the 2nd round. And her opponent was wore and throwing up, so she wouldn't of made it through the 3rd round. My girl never would have won gold though. As there was another girl who was amazing and beat everyone handly. My girl in red getting an awesome back kick.
My son had an amazing dad too. He has really taken a shine to me lately. It's a nice change since, he's been a Mama's boy for a while.

Cut our trip short and drove straight through to get ready for the storm. Just about a direct hit on us from Hurricane Beryl. Been a rough year to live in Houston so far. Not tons of damage, but lots of people without power. Glad I bought a generator a few years ago. Kind of wish I would have got it setup for natural gas though.
I've heard reports that generators on natural gas consume so much it drive your gas bill way up. Where propane would be cheaper
