Ok Johnboy has been using almost 4 year old Nokia phone. No camera, or picture screen. It calls and sort of texts, thats about it.

I have found these two phones. What I dont want is a phone I have to flip open to use or one that needs two hands, no touch screen only phones.

LG enV

This is a flip phone but does not need flipped to use it. Looks pretty slick.

My sister has one of these. She really like the Windows mobil stuff. Spread sheets, PDFs and such on your phone.

I am leaning toward the LG. What do you guys think?

i have the Q and it's a really nice phone to use...just doesn't like being dropped, kicked, gotten wet, or going through battle drills on the front of my vest:confused:

my sister also has the shine, I don't like it that much....windows mobile is so easy to use....

Since I switched to Cincinnati bell for work, i have a perfectly good Razr i can send you to try for free. Just have to have it switched to your name.

tony just got a new Verizon phone. I think it is the enV but I'l find out for sure.

I have the old EnV, I like it a lot. When it's opened, the buttons are decently sized so my big sasquatch fingers don't press three at a time. :D

I have the env2. I like it. Battery life is great. Like you said, it's nice to use the phone without opening it up. I actually text coherent messages now that I have a full keyboard.

I had a Moto Q until I went to a Blackberry, and all I can say was it was slow as hell...

did you have a SD card? mine was really bad before i got a card then saved everything to it and kept up on clearing temp files and cookies and it runs faster than my buddies curve and his new sidekick

No card here as I really did not add anything to the phone except my contacts which were synched with Outlook. I also kept track of clearing everything and it still didn't hold a candle to my Blackberry. As far as email is concerned, the Q was horrible. Too many steps to read your email and any downloads. Blackberry has been rock solid in that respect.

Again, just my opinion..

downloads in the emails do suck....another thing i don't like about it is that it only connects to my POP3 server and not whatever type my other 2 emails are...I need to set up the other two emails to forward into my POP3 email. but mine is AT&T also...much different from VCast...
