JL 500/1 amp not working right.

Just wondering if any of you guys know about these particular amps. Its a JL 500/1. If I remember right... when the sub hits hard it looses power. The light stays green and it will eventually start bumping again. It will work for a Wondering if it is worth getting fixed or if anyone here knows a person who is good at fixing amps?

Check your ground.

I had a similar issue with a p gold amp and it turned out to be my rcas inputs on the amp itself had became lose on the inside of the amp itself

The ground was fine. I'm running a different setup now but If like to see if I can fix/ get fixed for a decent price. If not, I have someone who wants to buy it for $50.

Polaris7x- I read about someone else having a similar issue with their JL amp. Were you able to take apart and fix it?

no i did not take it apart as i had that amp for almost 10 years so i knew it was time for a new one. I figured it out by having the system on and moving the rcas around and it would cut out bad
