I'm probably going to try it out but will it raise my oil psi to high and cause damage or will I be alright. I only ask because it gets pretty cold around here sometimes:D

No problems with psi, holds right around 90psi (factory gauge) on cold startup @ 24*.
I have noticed it being ever so slightly harder to start due to the increased thickness over the Rotella. It would be something that I wouldn't even notice if I didn't keep watch for it. Quick cure is to bump your desired plug-in temp up 10*.

Hey E.carter, do you happen to know who makes the oil for John Deere? Just curious.

It is made to john deeres specs by many different companies, It all depends on the rotation and who is up for the next batch. A few of the makers are Sunoil,Shell,Amaco and there are a few more I cant recall at this time

I did have a Deere tech rep tell me once that the Plus 50 compares very closely to Mobil Delvac, and that would be the best choice if we were working where the Deere products weren't available.

It is best to buy the first 2 1/2 gallon jug (TY22061) it retails for 37.75 and then take the empty jug back and get a refill from the bulk tanks at a cheaper price. That reminds me I needed to get my back up filled and on the shelf at home:D

Run in it all our stuff, big trucks, duramax trucks, tractors of course. Testing against the crap cenex oil we had gotten from coop it does run quite a few more hours before getting thin. We run it 300-350 hours in the tractors depending when we get around to changing it. Buy it a couple barrels at a time.
