Jackson, Minnesota where do you go out to eat/shop?

I have a friend that lives here, I am trying to get a gift certificate to a nice place to eat. All of the chain restaurants are in Minneapolis, which is a long drive. Just wondered if there were some nice steakhouse style restaurants close by.

I tried getting an opinion for ya from one of my in laws that drives truck all over MN and ND but he couldn't think of a good suggestion.
