Not gunna be stock anymore, EFILive can read the P12 ECM's in the 04+ chevy colorado's, so I tested my v2 on my buddies 07 3.7L colorado. Here's the stock tune. Didnt wanna touch mine untill I knew it would work :baby:

So, pretty much what im gathering from this table is that the ecm is limiting the TQ by XX % before performing a 1>2 upshift, the engine only makes about 250ft lbs of tq, so in theory, I only use half of the graph since I dont have the 5.3 v8 and the tables are the same.

That torque number is a reference number, it is not the actual rwtq..

You can raise shift pressures on the 4l60e to make it shift more firmly. Then raise the torque values in the torque management tables. Then turn off the throttlebody portion of the torque management. It's not defueling you feel per say it's actually the the tb closing during shifts. It will close the tb and pull timing, shift, then give it all back.

Tune is in, little truck moves now, WOT 6800rpm shifts, gets sideways on 1-2 and chirps tires on 2-3 shifts :roflmao: "seat of pants" is +20rwhp with the cat gut and the tune, combined with 4.10's and 3500 lbs, it moves for a inline 5  edit; bumped timing 6*, pinged on 87 a bit at WOT, pulled 1* out, and no more ping. If anyones interested its the P12 ecm/tcm, same as the 06+ GTO's IIRC.

oh yeah, 29mpg @ 65mph, up from 27.

Use caution on taking out to much torque management on the 1-2 shift or you will slide the band. The other shifts you will be ok on. You can also adjust pressure like said, the lower the pc sol. number the higher the pressure, example .9 is less pressure then .6. Good luck

I removed all the TQ management, figured since the same trans is behind the v8's that make 300 horse, a little inline 5 would be just fine :D

And thought the 1-2 shift is servo controled.. the 2-3 is band controled..

It is , the servo applies the band to achieve 2nd gear;)

went out to the track tonight. Last sub 90* night here for a few months.

Ran exact same time... 15.99... gained 3.5mph on the top end after clamping the springs and adding 1* of timing on 87 octane and full interior :spit: Not bad considering its my own tuning and went 16.8 in stock form, and have 300 bucks in the truck.

Has the MPH for 15.20's.... 60's justt suck, with these 4.10's it just lights the tires up.

Time for some Nitto 555 drag radials in 275/45/20's and a 75 shot :woott: Not setting any records with this truck, but I have more fun racing this truck than the GMC :D
