Has anyone had issues utilizing gmpartsdirect.com? I placed a bulk parts order a week ago and so far it still says the order is pending or n/a, payment hasn't been withdrawn from my account, and their customer service number goes to voicemail. My build is on hold until I recieve these parts so it's kind of anoying me.

The only two times I've ever ordered from them they never took payment and I never got my order so I gave up on them.

They're based out of Flow Chevy in Winston Salem and I've never had issues with them. Granted I'm local and its been 2-3 years since I've ordered but it sounds like it's gone down hill.

I ordered my LML driver side manifold and heat shield thru them on Feb 10, paid through PayPal that day, they didn't take the money or update the status until Feb 19, and the tracking they finally sent me says scheduled for delivery Feb 25. Never had any issues with them in the past until this order, and honestly I just about canceled the order even though they had the best prices then any other vendor. I called numerous times and left voice mails along with sent emails to them to figure out what was going on with my order. Not once did they call me back or respond to any of my emails. Hopefully I have my parts tomorrow, we shall see!

I've ordered a few things before. It longer than most places and the whole deal just seems off. I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice.

I've tried several times to order from them. Gave up each time. Last time I tried there shipping was dollar for dollar. A small box of parts 12"x12" was $346 in shipping and $348 for parts.

I search online for for guys needing parts and part numbers, what I noticed in the last few weeks is parts are disappearing for the 2006 and older trucks.

Time has come for GM to discontinue stocking or making parts for a 10 year old truck. Any one know what the federal maximum mandate to allow manufacturers to discontinue parts, 10 or 12 years comes to mind.?

I had this same problem with my last order, they did refund the shipping charges, but that was after multiple calls. I will not use them again

How much does DHD get for an LML crank? Is it keyed already?

I've ordered multiple items(bulk mainly) and I've always gotten them.
The only problem is it takes FOREVER to get the parts. I never get them in 2 weeks, usually take about 4 weeks from the time I order to the time I get the parts in the mail.

Good luck Dustin!!:D

I ordered a turbo oil drain from them about 2 weeks before I needed it. Time came for the build, and they hadn't charged me or shipped it. I went to a local dealer, bought one, and tried to cancel my order from GmPartsDirect. As soon as I emailed to cancel, they said "it has shipped already, we can't cancel." A few hours later, they charged my credit card and created a shipping label. A few more days later, and they actually shipped it.

I am not pleased with them, to say the least.

BTW if anyone wants to buy a LB7 turbo oil drain line for cheap, I have a spare...

I've definitely heard enough. Looks like I'll just try to cancel and run the list over to the dealership. Still have a buddy in the parts departement. Prices were more but I'd rather pay that than let a shady company leave $1800+ balancing in limbo.

So again I got their voicemail from the phone number that was supplied in my confirmation email. Called Flow Chevrolet directly and got forwarded to the internet parts guy. Said my last part just showed up and will be shipped today. Sooo I guess we'll see....

I ordered my lml crank from gmpartscenter.net and they had it processed and shipped and delivered in 4-5 days for less than gmpartsdirect.com. No issues with them. Rockauto.com has been good also.
