Isgm655 without xm

Ok, I ordered the isgm655 thinking my truck had the xm ready radio. Turns out it don't. What are my options here? When I hook up the isimple it gives me aux1 and aux2 I can't access the blue tooth or iPod or any of the inputs it should have. I posted this on DMAX forum and a guy says his worked fine without an xm ready radio.

Did some googling this morning and saw someone's post where their connector wasn't fully seated. Took a look at mine, and they were either. Pushed them in and everything works now. Works as advertised. And to reiterate, my head unit is a 6 disc non Bose with no XM button.

Ya, I only saw AM, FM (1 and 2 maybe), and AUX 1 & 2 but no XM. I thought the plugs were seated all the way but the clips weren't engaged and was .25-.5" out maybe. The tolerances on the plugs must not be the best because I had to push pretty hard and while rocking it from side to side. Once I did that, the XM menu for the IGM showed up when cycling through the sources. Once the XM shows up, then I could cycle through the inputs like bluetooth, ipod, etc. Didn't have to flash anything.
