It was like Christmas for me yesterday!:D I got a whole bunch of parts in from Guy at SoCal. My block has all been prepped and painted to get started on Monday.

So, now I need the experts advice here Will this S480 work really well twinned with my S366? Here are the specs that I copied:

S480 177287
Compressor Wheel Inducer/Exducer 80mm x 109mm with Extended Tip Technology
Turbine Wheel Inducer/Exducer 96mm x 87mm
Turbine Outlet 5 Inch V-Band
Turbine Inlet T6 Divided
Turbine A/R - 1.32

Thanks!

Nick

Really? Only 850? I was hoping for at least 900. Dual CP3's and 100 over sticks:( What would be the next size up if I want over 900?

Thanks

Nick

4718 , the S480 is working pretty hard at 850 , egt's will be fairly high , but you probably could hit 900 with enough fuel but it will be pretty hot IMOP , are you going to tow at all ?

is it possible to get the same outlet as the 480 on the 4718, the two 47's i have seen all use a different style outlet?

No towing at all Trent. The only thing I'm hauling is ass:D I still want to use it on the street though. I found a local distibutor that is giving the shop pretty decent prices on turbos. All I do is give them the part # and they give me the price.

What outlet? If you mean the Compressor outlet you can get a race cover from Precision that has the same V band as the GT42 and S400.

Looks like this.

The 366/4718 combo is pretty nice to drive.

Yeah Josh, you have one heck of an awesome setup. I wish I had the budget left over to buy it. But after the rods, flexplate, cam, pistons, pushrods, hold downs, damper, 100 over injectors and dual CP3 kit my wallet is feeling just a tad light:eek: You have a built motor so you know what I mean:D I guess on Monday I'm gonna make a few calls and see what I can get a GT47 for.

Josh, did you do any towing with that setup? How do you feel the 366/47 would do towing vs. the 366/480?
No, I didn't tow with it. I'm sure the 366/47 would be slightly laggier than the 366/480, but I don't think you would have too much trouble towing with the 47.
