ok well its been acting a little weird latley and 2 week ago at the pulls it did some funny stuff comnig on and off boost and acting all around weird kind just put it to the back of my mind. well this weekend I had to go to Central amreica AKA El centro CA arm pit of the world LOL . anyways towing my equpiment about 10,000 lbs up hill the trubo was barking really bad to the point tht the truck would almost shut off. got out of the trottle back in it and it would do it again seems at around 18psi it starts so i would have to down shift to 3rd and creep up the hills. so it wouldent bark. :mad: It did regardless of my water meth beeing on or off:confused: never had this problem with my stock turbo.SO any ways just wanted to see if any one has any insight to wht may be going on Thanks

is it making any other noises than the barking? Moving my shift points up cured my turbo bark. Have you checked for any play in the shaft?

Not yet i was on a work trip so i will this week yea seems to be making a louder whining nois now as well :(

yea sevral times but his voicemail is always full. wht do u meen by normal load? it does it under boost around 18 psi it starts some times less psi some times more. This is a isue i never saw with my 94 :confused:

I was with him twice when it did it, both were while going up a hill and just cruising around +/-2krpms iirc. it would just start making like a barking/scraping sound and it would just start to cut out almost. down shifting bringing the rpms higher was the only way to stop it

corectttttt was even worse on the way home :mad: worked great downhill :rofl:

yes it will do it under load strts around 18psi depends on the situation its worse under a heaver load did it towing my jet skis about 3000 lbs up grade
