BD Supermax, used 10,000 miles, all parts for install included.

Is it worth $1200?

Truck will be a tow vehicle most of the time with weekend driving for fun, but I would like to get into the high 12's just to say I did.

I had decided to just stay stock but that price is pretty low, at least I think it is not sure if its market value though.

That is worth it for sure. But don't do what I did and push it too hard because it will start eating the housings and or the bearings.
