Is it time? I got stuck behind an LB7 drowning me out with smoke today, on the way home from work (Best cloud I've seen yet). I nailed it too pass him (6th gear) and threw a p0700 p0777 and a bunch of others that cleared right away. I didn't get to see the other codes as they cleared the first time. It took two tries to get rid of the p0777/p0700 after I stopped. I feel bad for the guy in the LB7. He got his ass handed to him by a limped LBZ. I was on the limmiter when I passed. He gave up!!!

probably about 15k hard miles (Mikes stage 4), 1XX 1/4mi passes, 10 sled pull's, 4 dyno pulls. I actually made a mistake in post #1. I was in a hurry to go get dinner, so I typed it up quickly. It limped while I was passing a stock looking LMM to get behind the LB7. The LB7 was drowning out the LMM, so I figured I would have some fun with the LB7. I was not going to pass him once it limped, but the F***** was on the smoke hard.

My trans threw that 777 code every time I killed my C1s. That's just my experience.

This may be a dumb question (<----good start right? ) I've heard about the C3 oiler, but I'm not familiar with it's job, use, price or installation. Are guys having a problem with lubrication to the C3? I ask because I'll be into my trans again this summer, and if it's beneficial I might as well do it. Thanks

the c-3 oiler is 2 lines that install off of the pressure test port and go into hollowed out bolts for the PTO covers that spray oil on to the C3 clutches , and yes there is not enough lubrication on the c-3's when we start racing and running them so hot .

i saw black rings on my c-3's after only 4-5 mounths of use before i got the oiler . i really think the oiler is the only reason my trans is holding the kind of power it is . definatly money well spent if your dong your trans .

Is there a different setup for peeps who like to punch the go pedal while in 5the gear alot? Id would be one of these peeps!

 any of the sucoast kits should handle full throttle in any gear , even my SC3 has never blinked an eye luging 5th and hammering down @ 620 hp . but as i stated i thinks mikes c3 oiler has help keep the clutches fresh, cool , and lubricated in my truck .
