I've got a 2011 2500 and its time to replace my air filter. Il looking for advice as to if its worth it to install a full K&N filter system or just do a K&N drop in and maybe upgrade the hoses. Thoughts?

Dont buy an atermarket filter looking for power, they dont help on stock trucks. If you want a washable filter, then by all means buy one. People tend to say K&Ns clog up MAF sensors, Ive ran oiled filters on 3 trucks and never had an issue. If you dont over oil it, you wont have problems.

Depending on year of your truck and what you have done you might not see to much of a gain. Stick to a dry filter. Oil filters seem to cause issues like said above. If its a LMM I would not change it

To the OP...x10 for stay with stock GM/Delco filter. The guys (and 1 in particular) who have posted see this issue day in and day out. Lotta headaches with them aftermarket filters and oils.
