Truck started giving a check engine warning. Shop said it was MAF or IAF code. I changed the MAF with a new OE sensor and the warning went away for a week or so but came back. The shop said it wouldn't leave me stranded somewhere so I ignored it for several weeks during which time the check engine light would appear sometimes and sometimes it wouldn't. Took a fresh look at the code and see that it is specific for the IAF sensor 2, which is located in the intake manifold bridge. I plan on replacing with a new sensor. Question is - - is there anything else that I should be looking at while that deep into the engine? Any other possibilities that could cause an intermittent warning?
