Interior lights?

Ok stupid question but my 2011 sierra LML PM when i open the door the interior lights don't come on. I looked on the dic but didn't see a setting, how do I Make them confer info?

Push the dome light override button above the dash light adjustment knob to the left of the steering wheel by the headlight switch.
