Intercooler tubes or silicone connectors?

My stock driver's side intercooler 90 has a hole in it. I'm looking at either the PPE replacement or getting the mbrb/banks/ or afe tube which comes with the new coupling. Suggestions? Are the tubes worth the extra money? I need to order this weekend so I can do my first pull next Friday night.

I don't think many if any have the intercooler boots, I would order a new boot.
the tubes are one of those probably better for things parts but doesn't so much gain for the cost

Well Dan, I'm not looking to spend a lot. If I can spend $100 more or so on tubes and get a noticeable gain in performance like they claim I'd do it... otherwise I'll just get a better boot.

thanks for the opinion Noreaster... that's what I'm leaning towards that at this point.

At your power level, upgrading the IC tubes won't do much at all. PPE makes some STOUT intercooler boots. Let Dan hook you up.
