i installed an LBZ + the Allison tranny in a Reo 2.5 truck.
i cannot put the huge intercooler in front at it's original location.
i want to install it about 7 ft in the back of the truck with electric fans that will work all the time.

can the distance create a problem? can it cause pressure trouble?
can it cause temp increase bacuse of the distance?

any other issues to be considered?

thanks

Can't think of anyone running an Intercooler in the bed before???

E-fans aren't going to move the air volume you'd get running down the road, but between the distance the boosted volume has to travel and the heat exchange that would occur therein I would imagine your biggest issue might be a drop in velocity, I would think boost should be about the same...

Interesting question, I'm curious to see what answers you get
Good luck
