Intake Air Temp. Question

I am trying to find out if my Intake Air Temp. is to high. What is the proper temp. at wide open throttle.

depends on OAT.
mine is about 10* lower than OAT.

there is no proper temp , it depend on how hot the under hood is, especially since it is measure at the MAF sensor and not what the actual motor see's , one of my next mods will be my own IAT sensor/gauge .

Im not talking about the temp the truck reads at the maf sensor but what temp should the air be when it enters the motor.

how are you measuring ? ideal would be ambient, cant tell you what it actually is because there is no factory sensor on my truck to give the answer in question .

There's not a "proper temp" because you can't control the weather.

What is you IAT, and are you looking at the reading in the manifold or the MAF sensor?
