ok guys and girls. my truck is an 06 lt. has all the auto ac controls. all that has stoped working. all i can do is turn the fan up and down. also, every light on my dash minus the radio has stopped working. including the ones on the doors. any ideas? tried the BCM and have had no luck there. i tried a used one and and flashed it for 2 hours with no luck. still have the same problem with it BUT, pass key would not program on the replacement bcm. please and thank you for any contributions!

did you turn the dimmer down?

did you check the interior / courtesy fuse?

there is a VERY small fuse shrink wrapped into the harness behind the knee level panel under the column but i think that is only for the light on the wheel.

i checked all the fuses again and all ok. have not checked the one for the wheel but wasnt worried with them as the did not work when i got the truck. dimmer doesnt make a difference except for the radio. it still works it fine. i talked to a locksmith who said i should be able to get the paslock to pick up the pcm on my own, so im gonna try what he told me tomorrow.

You need to check the blower module located under the HVAC housing in the footwell on the pass side of truck. Very common. Did you happen to notice that you only had high blower after that?

Id bet that module finally shorted out and it took the rest of the system with it. You need to check ALL underhood and dash fuses to see what the short took with it.
