My Kodiak did not come with a transmission temp gauge. It was a option.
So...I decided to buy the Aeroforce Scan Gauge.
It has tons of different parameters that can be displayed 2 at a time.
Reads and Clears DTC.
Fits into any normal sized gauge hole for a 2" gauge....then just plugs into the OBD II. Thats it, no power wiring, no ground wiring. Just a plug it in and go.
It will read turbo vane position, pulse width, intake air temp, coolant temp, trans temp, trans slip, oil temp, oil pressure, MPG, RPM, voltage, HP and torque....and a bunch of others I can't think of off the top of my head.
The display can be bought with blue, red, green, black, white. As well as bezel color and face color.
They also come with LED lights that can be programmed as shift or warning lights.
Pretty cool gauge for the money if you ask me.
