installed a PPE oil centrifuge, have questions

Hey guys, installed a ppe oil centrifuge on my lly. My question is, and I followed ppe’s Instructions-and have seen in other posts, where does one plumb in the supply line on the stock filter housing? There’s two ports. One right below the exhaust manifold and another on the bottom of the filter housing itself. Following ppe’s instructions, I put my supply line on the top hole. I’ve seen another thread where the gentleman put his supply line in the botttom hole.

Thoughts on this?

I put mine in exactly as the instruction said.

Thus far the only problem I have had is the neck broke (was before the updated cast version), PPE stepped up and sent me a new neck. No problems since. No change in oil pressures.
