Need help understand the signals of what the throttle do after they are changed by my foot. I understand the Ecm sends out the reference voltage of 5 volts to the three different app sensors in the pedal unit itself, then i change the voltage and it goes back to the ECM correct?
Then where does it go after that? Does the ecm signal get sent to the ficm and then the ficm controls what the injectors are suppose to be doing?
Also does any lb7 have any type of torque management system? where it will change fuel versus how much of load is on the engine?
Reason i ask the questions is because my truck is completely back to stock and while the stock tune fixed my idle problem, something is still wrong with my part throttle running through town. keep the truck moving on flat ground i am at 50-70 percent throttle with converter locked, compared to my friends stock lly which can be done around the 30 percent spot.
Also, if i take off at 30 percent, my truck is correct, its when i am rolling and get back into it is when i have depress it to 50-70 percent to keep it going the same speed.
