Just bought my first LB7. It has one injector almost out of spec. Can I get away with just replacing it? Their Bosch. What should I replace it with?

Balance rates by theirselves are not really a 100% way to tell if the injectors are "good" or "bad". You need to look at the return rate also. Does the truck smoke at idle or especially when you're rolling up to a stop light? If it runs and drives fine and doesn't smoke I wouldn't replace any. If it just barely ever smokes you can get by a long time before biting the bullet. If it smokes quite a bit I would go ahead and replace them all with Bosch remans and be done with it... The main reason I wouldn't just replace one injector on an LB7 is simply because it takes too long to dig in there... Just do it once and forget about it.

The return test is not a quickie easy test.
Basically if your truck runs smooth and quiet, doesn't white smoke, doesn't leak fuel into the crankcase, starts fine and does not give you low rail pressure codes just drive and enjoy your truck. A good check of the system is weather or not the actual fuel rail pressure can match the desired fuel rail pressure when commanded up with the scan tool at idle. If it'll do that and doesn't have any problems I mentioned above it's healthy enough not to worry about it.
