'01-'04.5 (LB7) Duramax had a design flaw, some will need replacement after ~100-150,000mi.
'04.5+ are fine, and will regularly go fine for the life of the truck.
Important to injector life are clean fuel, clean fuel filters, no water in fuel, and in some peoples' opinions additives to increase lubricity.
