I noticed the other day that I have a little blue cloud comming out of my exhaust during idle. Is it really possible that my injectors could be going again? I had them replaced at the time of purchase since they were under warranty. That was at 135,000miles and now I am at 169,000 and wondering if that is possible. I really hate to have to pay for that myself!

Further testing would be in order before assuming a little blue smoke at idle says your injector(s) are bad. First off a balance check. Then go from there

Do you run any fuel additive? I was having problems with mine smoking at idle and I had to run about 3 of the bigger jugs of fuel conditioner through it, but it eventually cleaned up. After the three jugs I also changed the fuel filter.

It does puff blue even after It has been well warmed, however it is not nearly as bad as it was before I had the injectors replaced at 135,000. I do use Power Services Diesel Kleen (silver bottle) 8oz per fillup. Also changed the fuel filter this summer.

Could be quality of the diesel fuel your using. Blue (unless a cold diesel) usually represents oil. Black and or white smoke as you describe ( idle) would lean more towards injectors.

I'd check balance rates and then do a compress check. With your type of mileage you might be seeing a a bit of oil usage. Probably not enough to show up between oil changes but using some nonetheless.

I wouldn't sweat it.

So I finally had my balance rates checked. I think these number are at engine warm and parked
Cyl 1=.5
cyl 2=.2
cyl 3=.2
cyl 4=2.1
cyl 5=2.3
cyl 6=1.3
cyl 7=-2.6
cyl 8=-1.9
He said that the number looked OK. Nothing to really worry about. He said the numbers in drive looked good also. What are your opinions on these numbers?

Not bad considering your original post was back in 2011! Lol

Well, I just did not get around to it. I had the guy do the pump rub fix and had him check things out at the same time. He is a mechanic in the marine corp, so he is not always around. Good deal though, gave him $200 to dot he pump rub. He checked the rate, bled the abs accum, checked through the brakes, washed the truck, polished the chrome, cleaned the inside of the truck and even put in a new airfreshner! Now what the heck am I gonna do this weekend!:)

You need to check you injectors when in Drive and parking brake applied. The spec is +/-6 but if you are near that number then you probably have a problem.
