I am getting tired of going to the dealers and having them tell me everything is fine when its obvious that something is wrong. My 02 smokes all the time. at idle, low boost and all the way at the top. I have nothing a k&n. no tuner or exhaust or anything. and when you jump on the throttle at idle it blows a little bit of white smoke as well as black. Im guessing head gasket but I dont know maybe its injectors. Also when I start the truck as well as when I shut it off it seems to be knocking. Like fuel detonation maybe? but it doesn't do it while idling or driving. I dont know what to think. I have an extended warranty, and would like to get things fixed before my warranty is gone. what do you think it could be causing these problems? and does anyone know a good mechanic to go to that wont screw me in new mexico? Im tired of the dealers not wanting to do any work for me.
