Injector wire lengthening?

i dont' see why not as long as the injector is getting the voltage it needs, make sure you use the same gauge... and I would do them one at the time so you don't get them mixed up

I think you will be fine. Just make sure to clean and solder the wires and heat shrink. Us wire if the same gauge as well not smaller.

thanks guys. what a nightmare had to yank my engine and cut and lengthen my harness just to mount my new intake manifold. but it will be worth it in the end i.

Used one size bigger gauge wire for the injector wiring. 2.5 years and zero wiring issues.

I lengthened the complete engine harness yesterday, what a pain in the a--. But it's done I soldered all the connections except the injector wires. Since they were larger they would not solder as neat so I found these solder/heat shrink splices. You just heat them and they do everything in one step, hopefully they hold up. As far as wiring, I had a old truck harness so I matched the majority of the wires with the same gauge and color and the injector wires I did in the same gauge used by the factory. I sure hope it is all good????!!!
