I posted a this question on another site and Josh was the only one who gave any info.
Was wondering if there was any difference between the gens of dmax's injectors. Are the spray patterens the same at the same pulse and pressure as in does one have a tighter spray pattern than another? Are the holes in the same spots in the tips between the years? Just wondering if one gets the fuel into the bowl better than another.

I think I read the LB7s had a thinner pattern, and a thicker HG would help them alittle

EDIT: LB7s had physically the biggest nozzles, and all generations have different hole bores and/or amount of holes IIRC

LB7, LLY, and LBZ have 7 holes; LMM have 6. Thicker head gaskets will push the injector out of the bowl more.

Could a thick copper washers help? Just seems that would be the most cost effective
No, that will do the opposite of what you want. A thinner washer will get it down in the bowl a little more, but you can only go so far. An injector with a different spray angle would be better, but a bigger injector that gets the fuel in quicker and keeps the fuel in the bowl is the easiest/most effective way.

Was just talking to Dustin about this today, hope he'll chime in... Injector nozzles from some other bosch injectors will fit on Dmax injectors. (no clue witch ones) but you can get a tighter spray pattern so it stays in the bowl with more extreme timing.

I won't be going that route b/c I'm planning on some 100% overs so I won't be too worried about timing.

Bosch does offer a racing injector for the LBZ that is 100% and 80% over. They also have a tighter than stock spray pattern. I think you have to know someone to get them though.
