I have a very unusual problem. Intermittently, my engine is noisy and sounds like a fuel related issue. It is worse when the fuel and air temp is hotter. It sounds like a knock but when you touch the gas it is gone. Sometimes the idle is rougher than it should be. Give me your opinions.

could be the fca, injector rattle would rattle anytime when cruising with your foot on the throttle and would go away when you let off the throttle.

Balance rates are bad off on two injectors. Six injectors are in the -2.0 area and one is +5.5 and the other +7.17 areas respectively. The noise occurs more often when fuel and air is hotter. It will also smoke white/blue when enhine is cold. When heat get into the motor the smoke vlears up. These are 40 over,extride honed, injector nozzles that are flowed and balanced. They have 6800 miles on them.
i cant think of anything besides injectors or mechanical problem to cause the balance rates to be that far off . i know the built motor was just finished wasnt it ?
Yes it has 6800 miles on it. Everything was new other than crank and pistons. I had the pistons cut and coated. Everything went together very well. When it was first logged the rates were exceptional and the motor was unbeleivably smooth.
