injector numbering sequenc

i ran a quick test turning off injectors one by one . not noticing any difference with 3,4,5,7 however 1,2,6,8 you can tell when you shut them down. i was hoping that harness on pass. side was bad however 1 is on pass. side and 1 is working. truck is running bad no white smoke though

Im just mentioning this because its been brought up recently that EFI LIVEs numbering system for injectors doesnt mesh with what GM or 'our' injector standard has been, aka correlating them with cylinder number.

I believe passenger side front to back is 1-3-5-7 and driver side is 2-4-6-8. its posted on here somewhere I just cant remember where to confirm it.

yes but the other question is does the gm numbering match the efi live numbering as i said 3, 4,5,7 have a problem on efi

i would say it matches since efi lives for GMs and GMs numbers there clylinders from the closest to the front of the engine to the rear
