Injector Knock???

so long story short. trucks been down for a few months while i put compounds on it and when i finally started it up i started to get a REAL BAD knock coming from either cylinder #5 or #7. hooked the V2 to it and the only codes i got out of it was

P0098 Intake Air Temp Sensor 2 Circ High
P0090 Fuel Pres Reg Ctrl Circ
P0088 Fuel Rail/Sys Pres-Too Hi
P0673 Glow plug #3 Circ failure(i just changed this glow plug)

when it starts it smokes heavy like a injector is hung open. ive looked at all the connections and everything looks fine. i havnt checked the balance rates as of yet(scared to let the truck run that long makin that god awful noise). im just curious to if im missing something or not.

im decently well rounded with my truck im open to anything if anybodys got any ideas of something that im over looking.

What's your rail pressure at idle?

Not to sure at this point. i havnt put my laptop to the truck yet but the P0088 code make it sound too good.

sounds to me like your fuel pressure regulator is either not plugged in or broken connection some where or its stuck. i'd bet if you put the lap top on it the rail pressure is 20k or better at idle.

broke connector on the FPR...pressure was WAY above 20K...good call dude:thumb: now i jus have to hope this is my only issue

new one will be here today and will go in tonight along with my Hellman Sump
but heres what caused it...look about right? can we call this the culprit? lol
