Injector cups

Ok so I picked up my heads from the machine shop today and I didnt remove the injector cups before hand so when he decked the head he says he ran a chamfering tool over the edge of the cups is this ok?

The cups need to come out and reseal using new o rings. Make sure to use the proper sealant on the cups. I always use the GM red made for this and have had zero problems with it sealing.

How do you get them out and is it a problem if he removed material from the end of them or is it more important that they are properly resealed

Any removed from the end shouldn't be a problem but he had to take a lot off to get there. Normal clean up only takes around 6-8 thousands. You should have also had the intake side of the heads machines as much as the bottom to keep proper alignment of the y bridge.
