LB7: Injector balance rate not fluctuating?

So after The motor build I had a fuel leak after 3 miles. I found out where it was coming from. Blew up the CP3. Had metal all in the valley and the 2 freeze plug things had dents all in them and were laying in the valley. I put it back together and truck runs decent. Idle is a little rough sometimes. Checked the balance rates and I have 3 bad from 7.0-10.0 Same injectors that came out but with different nozzles. One of the injector balance rates doesn't fluctuate. It stays at 7 even when you go into drive or crank up the rail pressure. Anybody seen this before? Logged a run at 2100us and only held 19k psi. Im guesssing I probably have shit in the injectors from the blown up pump but why would that one not fluctuate?

Reese FYI balance rates will not very based on rail pressure at idle. Mine stay the same from 5000psi to 26100psi. They obviously should change from park to drive. Have you checked the cylinders for any noticeable debris?

Someone explain the balance rates to me. What do they tell you? Cat has a cylinder cutout test which measures the strength of each cylinder (high number equals strong cylinder, low number equals weaker cylinder). I am assuming that the balance rates are something along these lines?

I had this exact issue, I blew all 3 "freeze plugs" out of the pump. We replaced the pump and I drove it, noticed particles in my fuel filter just kept changing them until I noticed almost none. It was ok for about 5 months then I had #3 injector go, not a little smoke, rough idle or high balance rate, just went from being fine to rattling, smoking, and skipping. Limped back to the shop had injector replaced, ran great for another 5 months and I just had to replace injector #2 it did the same exact thing went from 100% to junk in 2 seconds. I was thinking the sudden failure was realted to the metal in my fuel system??? I just put a Nicktane adapter and CAT 2 micron filter hopefully it prevents any further metal in my injectors???

My balance rates have always been different with rail pressure. Like now they get a little better as the rail pressure is turned up. But that one stays at 7 period. I have never seen that.

I have a Cat 10 micron a/w seperator and a Cat 2 micron filter. Im sure the stuff went straight from the pump to the sticks and hosed them.
