hey everyone, i got lot of issues since my head gasket replacement. i was wondering, if it could be possible the connections going to the injectors are dirty causing diff readings, also, what is this all about "ice Picking", i looked at that thread, and understand why they do that, is this something that i should do to, and just to clarify my questions on what pos numbers mean and neg numbers mean. +4 mean adding more fuel, or does -4mean its adding more fuel.
#1 is 2.2,
#2 is -4.6
#3 is 0.6
#4 is -5.2
#5 is 3.6
#6 is 1.2
#7 is -0.4
#8 is 3.0
before head gasket job every injector read +/-1. is this a wiring issue, bad connections, ice pick issue, or what. everybody around my area are stupid stupid, dumb. what do you think? also, which side of engine are, 1357 injectors on, and 2468 injectors, from front to back of truck or other way around? I am trying to pinpoint my problem.

A positive number means the ECM is adding fuel to the base injection amount, and a negative means it is removing fuel. The cylinders are numbered from front to back with the odd numbers being on the right (passenger) side of the engine and even being on the left. It isn't likely that doing the ice pick fix will help your balance rates. I would do a compression test to make sure it isn't loss of compression causing the change in balance rates.

That must be something else on them. You can put new injectors in any cylinder. but tracking down problems or assembly etc you need to know what cylinder is what.

That's what I thought. My question wasn't thought very well due to posting from phone. I knew odds were on passenger side. It should have been along the lines of does it matter where the 1357's go compared to the 2468's? Also when you order, you dont specify these numbers.

Your phone is confusing you ;) . The injectors don't care where they go... If they are marked 1357 and 2468 on the body for some reason, it's just a coincidence. Above they are referring to specific balance rates of injectors from cylinders 1357 & 2468.
